Temples and Trees
As many are observing what is happening at Temple Mount in Jerusalem, Juner has been taking me to many historic Temples in China.
Of many joys and interests Juner & I share, it is especially meaningful to merge Eastern and Western art history and methodology to create new forms of presentation.
我和Juner有很多共同的乐趣和兴趣，其中融合东西方艺术史和方法论以创造新的呈现形式尤为有意义。
The work
An East-West Innovation in Art Presentation
东西方艺术呈现的创新
Such is exemplified by Juner's exquisite silk watercolors we teamed to achieve presentation as articulated in a Western form of stretching - similar to Mark's oil paint stretchers - yet the difference remains that, in addition to exotic woods we have obtained in the Southeastern Connecticut region, silk from China of three eras (Han Dynasty - 206 BCE-220 CE / Song (Sung) Dynasty - 960-1279 / Qing (Ch'ing) Dynasty - 1644-1912) is affixed to the structure and achieves presentation more akin to sculpture.
朱纳精美的丝绸水彩画就是一个例子，我们联手将其呈现为西方的拉伸形式——类似于马克的油画担架——但不同之处在于，除了我们在康涅狄格州东南部地区获得的异国木材外，丝绸来自中国三个时代（汉朝 - 公元前 206 年 - 公元 220 年 / 宋（宋）朝 - 960-1279 / 清（清）朝 - 1644-1912）的结构被固定在结构上，并实现更类似于雕塑的呈现。
